take-me-home is about working towards creating a sustainable life for everyone, your family, friends, communities and those far less fortunate than us in other parts of the world.
One way to make a positive contribution is to go back to basics using ethical textile materials and craft techniques and processes that use less energy and have a low impact on the environment.
This can be done by making or buying hand made clothes that have been produced using natural fibres and manufacturing and craft processes that do not release large quantities of toxic waste into our water supply and the environment.
We can all contribute by learning and sharing craft skills and processes such as spinning, natural dyeing, knitting, crochet, weaving and many others, that will in time be passed down from one generation to another and ultimately help to develop a more sustainable future.
